1. PURPOSE

This License permits individuals to use, study, modify, and contribute to
the MiraiLens software for personal, educational, research, experimental,
and other non-commercial purposes.

Commercial use requires separate written permission from the copyright
holder.


2. DEFINITIONS

"Software" means the MiraiLens source code, documentation, configuration
files, and other materials distributed by the project under this License.

"You" means an individual person exercising rights granted under this
License.

"Commercial Use" means using, modifying, deploying, distributing,
integrating, hosting, or otherwise incorporating the Software primarily
for commercial purposes, including:

(a) selling the Software or a modified version;

(h) other lawful non-commercial purposes.

(a) use the Software;

(b) study the Software;

(c) run the Software;

(d) copy the Software;

(e) modify the Software;

(f) create derivative works;

(g) privately maintain modified versions; and

(h) share the Software with others for permitted non-commercial purposes.


4. MODIFICATION

You are permitted to modify the Software for non-commercial purposes.

If You distribute a modified version, You must:

(a) retain this License;

(b) retain applicable copyright and attribution notices;

(c) clearly indicate that modifications were made;

(d) identify the modified version as being derived from MiraiLens; and

(e) not represent the modified version as the official MiraiLens release.

Modified versions must not falsely imply endorsement, sponsorship, or
official affiliation with MiraiLens.


5. ATTRIBUTION

When distributing a modified version of MiraiLens, You must provide
reasonable attribution to the original project.

The attribution must identify:

Contributions to MiraiLens are welcome.

(b) create branches;

(c) modify the source code;

(d) submit issues;

(e) submit pull requests;

(f) propose improvements;

(g) submit bug fixes; and

(h) contribute documentation or other project improvements.

Submitting a pull request does not automatically transfer ownership of
your original work to the project.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, contributors retain
the rights they hold in their own original contributions.

By submitting a contribution for inclusion in MiraiLens, You represent that
You have the necessary rights to submit that contribution and that its
inclusion does not knowingly violate another person's rights.

Accepted contributions may be incorporated into future MiraiLens releases
under the project's applicable licensing terms.


7. COMMERCIAL USE

Commercial Use is NOT permitted under this License.

Without prior written permission from the copyright holder, You may not:

(a) sell MiraiLens;

(b) sell modified versions of MiraiLens;

(c) include MiraiLens in a paid commercial product;

(d) use MiraiLens as a component of a paid service;

(e) operate a commercial SaaS or hosted service substantially based on
    MiraiLens;

(f) provide paid services substantially based on MiraiLens; or

(g) deploy MiraiLens for commercial internal business operations.

This restriction applies even when MiraiLens itself is distributed free
of charge.


8. COMMERCIAL LICENSING

Businesses, organizations, and other commercial users may contact the
copyright holder to request separate commercial licensing.

Commercial permission is not granted automatically by this License.

A separate written agreement may establish different terms, including
commercial usage rights, fees, attribution requirements, support
arrangements, or other conditions.


9. PROJECT NAME AND TRADEMARKS

This License does not grant permission to use the MiraiLens name, logos,
trademarks, service marks, or other branding in a manner that suggests
that a modified or redistributed version is an official MiraiLens release.

You may refer to MiraiLens for truthful identification purposes.

For example:

"Based on MiraiLens"

is permitted when used accurately and without implying endorsement.


10. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING WHETHER THE SOFTWARE IS
SUITABLE FOR YOUR INTENDED USE.


11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER

INABILITY TO USE, THE SOFTWARE.

This limitation applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.


12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Except for the rights expressly granted by this License, no rights are
granted under any copyright, patent, trademark, or other intellectual
property right.

Nothing in this License transfers ownership of the MiraiLens project or
its intellectual property.


13. TERMINATION

The rights granted under this License automatically terminate if You
materially violate its terms.

Upon termination, You must cease exercising the permissions granted by
this License.

Termination does not affect rights that cannot legally be terminated or
rights that have otherwise been lawfully acquired.


14. SEPARATE AGREEMENTS

The copyright holder may grant additional rights through a separate
written agreement.

If a separate written commercial license conflicts with this License,
the separate written agreement controls for the rights specifically
granted under that agreement.


15. ACCEPTANCE

By using, modifying, or distributing MiraiLens under this License, You
agree to comply with its terms.
